The Interfaith Coalition Against Bigotry held a meeting
Sunday, May 18, 2008 to receive petitions calling on media, advertisers, and consumers to find ways to disagree without resorting to hateful language and stereotypes. Read the KANSAS CITY STAR article for comments from interfaith and community leaders.

This spring I traveled to our State Capital with friends from CCO to advocate for health care coverage for Missouri's uninsured children.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Deborah Katina, is coordinator of
Yang'at ("to care"), a Church World Service partner in Kenya's arid northwest. Her organization empowers women by improving access to water. She was a presenter at Ecumenical Advocacy Days in Washington, D.C. I was able to attend EAD thanks to Church World Service.
